Michele Wehrwein Albion is a writer, historian,
former museum curator and a mom.
Katherine Beecham currently serves as an educator,
diversity coordinator and storyteller. She also has a
passion for art and is pursuing opportunities in that field.
Rosemarie DiCristo is a freelance writer specializing
in fiction for children and young adults. She's had her work
published in several magazines.
Dorothy Francis is the author of several books and an
educator at the Institute of Children’s Literature.
Todd A. Grazier works as a children’s librarian for
the Columbus (Ohio) Metropolitan Library. He is a daddy,
husband and avid gardener.
Michael Levy teaches at the University of
Wisconsin-Stout. He’s written numerous articles on science
fiction and children’s literature.
Lauren Aimonette Liang is an assistant professor in
the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of
Utah.
Sandra Lindow has been teaching reading and writing
for over thirty years. She has published four books of
poetry. For the last twenty years she has worked as a
reading specialist at a treatment center for emotionally
disturbed adolescents. She lives in Eau Claire, Wisconsin
with husband, daughter and one very affectionate calico cat.
Anne Lundin is a professor at the School of Library
and Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin,
Madison.
Kenneth Marantz is a professor emeritus of art
education, still advising students of the picturebook, and
reviewing regularly for Children’s Literature Comprehensive
Database and School Arts.
Sylvia Marantz, retired school librarian, still
volunteers in school libraries and reviews for Children’s
Literature Comprehensive Database.
April Jones Prince is a children’s book author and
freelance editor in Massechusetts.
Marilyn Robertson is a coordinating librarian with
the Los Angeles Unified School district.
David Russell is a professor of languages and
literature at Ferris State University in Michigan. He has
written many articles and several books on children’s
literature, including a widely used college textbook,
Literature For Children, now in its fourth edition.
Currently he serves as treasurer of The Children’s
Literature Association.
Gary Schmidt is most recently the author of Mara’s
Stories (Holt), a collection of Holocaust folktales, and
Lizzy Bright and the BuckministerBoy (Clarion), a novel
about the destruction of an African community off the coast
of Maine.
Jan Susina lives in Normal, IL with a pre-schooler
who enjoys acting out picture books.
Susie Wilde is a children’s book reviewer who writes
for eight publications and continually shares books with
children, teachers, and parents.
